On Friday 13th March, the Gibbons staff did their
bit for good causes by getting involved in the Red Nose Day Great Comic Relief
Bake Off.
Staff baked (and bought) a selection of delicious cakes
which were sold for donations to the long-running charity, with a grand total
of £75 raised.
The prize for best baker went to six-year-old Beth Scott,
daughter of Sales Manager Paul and a future Mary Berry in the making. Beth
baked two dozen mouth-watering cupcakes topped with red and white icing and our
judging panel were unanimous in awarding her the certificate which she took to
school and showed off to her class.
A big thank you to everyone who took part for contributing
to the amazing £78 million total raised by Comic Relief this year.
