We take great pride in our work here at Gibbons Group and
are delighted to hold industry-wide certification for key areas of our
business. Rows of letters and numbers look impressive, but what do they all
mean? Here we define our accreditations:
BS OHSAS 18001:2007 covers occupational health and safety
management. Holding this means we’ve proved our commitment to the wellbeing of
our staff – it’s our number-one priority.
ISO 14001:2004 is the standard for environmental management
and demonstrates our dedication to reducing waste and increasing efficiency in
everything we do, from the workshop to our offices.
ISO 9001:2008 relates to quality management – it’s your
guarantee that our products are manufactured to the highest standards using the
finest materials.
CHAS is the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme, a local authority and government-backed pre-approval programme representing over 50,000 suppliers.
AEMT represents the leading UK and global companies who supply, install, maintain, service and repair electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, fans, generators, transformers and switchgear.
Achilles UVDB Verify is an independent audit of our safety, health, environment and quality management systems.
