Client profile: - The Building is a seven-story property totalling 64,000 sq ft (5,900m2), with 56,000 sq ft (5,200m2) of offices and 8,000 sq ft (700m2) of retail space adjacent toTottenham Court Road, London. It is situated on a 0.5 acre site and adjoins the Qube building in the heart of London’s Fitzrovia Estate.
The Project: - Gibbons were invited to tender for the servicing and upgrade of one large AHU. The unit was located on a roof top and serves the seven story office below. A full survey was undertaken on site by our engineering team.
Gibbons were pleased to be awarded the contract and a full programme of work was issued to the customer. All works were undertaken over weekend hours to eliminate any shut down plant time during normal working hours.
Our engineers undertook the following scope of work:
Air validation
Electrical testing
AHU repairs
Cleaning and painting
Motor and fan bearing changes
Filter changes
Technical validation works
