We’ve written often in this blog

factors. That’s where EnergySave comes in.
Global automation company ABB has
used its expertise to create EnergySave, an interactive, easy-to-use calculator
that allows operators of fan and pump applications to see for themselves just
how much energy and money they could save by adding variable-speed drives to
their system.
The EnergySave calculator invites
users to enter information about their fan or pump application and compares the
energy consumption of traditional flow control methods with ABB drives.
Results are presented in the form of a simple graph, providing a striking
visual representation of the savings available.
For those who do not have much
technical information to hand, Basic mode requires only minimal data to be
entered and provides a general idea of potential savings. Advanced mode allows
more detailed information to be inputted which yields a more specific
calculation.
