Representatives from Gibbons Engineering Group will today
attend the annual general meeting of the Maltsters’ Association of Great
Britain (MAGB) at a prestigious London event.
Held in the grand surroundings of the Armourers Hall in
central London, the yearly MAGB event sees members and guests of the malting
industry gather for its AGM and lunch.
As a long-time supplier of products and services to the
malting industry, Gibbons was delighted to be invited to this illustrious
event, with directors Matthew Gibbons and Barry Horsfall in attendance.
The MAGB was formed in 1827 in order to promote and
safeguard the valuable UK malting industry and allow it to fulfil its global
potential. Malt is well known for its use in beer and whisky and is also an
ingredient in food products such as breakfast cereals, pickles, sauces and
confectionery.
For decades we have installed, maintained and repaired
equipment such as electric
motors, variable-speed
drives and transmission
systems for maltsters across the UK, helping them to contribute to the 1.6
million tonnes of malt produced annually in Britain for consumers such as brewers
and distillers.
Whatever industry you operate in, to discuss your industrial
equipment requirements, call Gibbons on 01621 868138 or email info@gibbonsgroup.co.uk.
