As parts of the UK suffer unusually high levels of
pollution, it might be time to think about whether your HVAC systems need
servicing, upgrading or replacing.
Parts of the UK have suffered unusually high levels of
pollution this week, as a combination of local emissions and dust from the
Sahara has resulted in a thick blanket of smog covering much of south England,
the Midlands and East Anglia.
It’s more serious than motorists finding a confusing film of
dust on their vehicles, though. The elderly and those with respiratory
conditions such as asthma have been advised to avoid strenuous activity
outdoors as Defra (the Department for Food, Agriculture & Rural Affairs)
has graded the pollution level at a maximum 10 on its air quality scale.
But has this increase in pollution made you think about your
HVAC systems? When was the last time you had your air conditioning system
serviced, for instance? Along with a full installation and set-up service,
Gibbons offer a complete maintenance plan to ensure your heating, air
conditioning and ventilation systems are working to optimum efficiency,
providing the cleanest air for you and your staff.
Find out how we can help with servicing, upgrade and
replacement by calling HVAC Services Manager Andrew Knight on 07850204915 or
email andrew.knight@gibbonsgroup.co.uk.
