We just had to share this brilliant video from ABB with you which shows a rather unique way of producing art!

Visitors at the Futur en Seine Festival in Paris were ‘captured’ by a Microsoft Kinect motion-sensing device which was connected to an ABB robot. Armed with a black felt-tip pen, the robot then reproduced the image on paper! The project, which was conceived by three inventive French students, delighted visitors who chose it to receive an audience award.

Check out some of the stunning robot-drawn portraits in the video below!

There’s plenty of information about Gibbons’ range of ABB motors and variable-speed drives on our website, but feel free to call us on 01621 868138 or email info@gibbonsgroup.co.uk with any questions.
